1. Take part in R&D studies of cement additives;
    • Formulate and prepare additives samples,
    • Run cost analysis,
    • Prepare cement for testing,
    • Execute chemical tests on additives,
    • Execute performance tests on paste, mortar or concrete,
    • Report and document results as per corporate procedures.
  2. Run alternative raw materials search and tests,
  3. Take part in scale up production of cement additives,
  4. Take part in plant trials of cement additives,
  5. Follow relevant standards, corporate guidelines and update internal test methods accordingly if necessary,
  6. Develop new test methods,
  7. Cooperate with other departments; QC, production, planning, procurement, technical department, sales
  8. Cooperate with external stakeholders; Suppliers, cement producer
  9. Run literature work and patent search,
  10. Run calibration, verification and maintenance of lab equipment.

  1. A degree qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Material Science (or equivalent) or secondary degree school in technical disciplines.
  2. Good command of English.
  3. Experience in cement testing (such as mortars, concrete, etc.) 
  4. Knowledge of relevant normatives and attitude to formulations development.
  5. Project management experience according to priorities.
  6. Ability to communicate in heterogeneous working groups (sales, R&D chemists, technical service, sales etc.).
  7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  8. Computer skills and database management; MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SAP.
